About Us

Violence Prevention and Advocacy Services (VPAS) at UNC-Chapel Hill is committed to preventing all forms of gender-based violence and providing support to those impacted by violence and harassment.

Prevention: Our Violence Prevention Coordinators (VPCs) provide education and awareness through trainings, outreach, and other programs.

Advocacy: Our confidential Gender Violence Services Coordinators (GVSCs) support individuals impacted by gender-based violence and harassment in accessing support and resources on campus and in the community.

We serve all members of the campus community - students, staff, faculty, and postdoctoral fellows.
