Whom We Serve

Victim Services Specialists provide free, confidential support and services for members of our Carolina community impacted by harassment, sexual misconduct, interpersonal violence, or stalking. Support is available for anyone who’s been directly or indirectly impacted – no matter if it happened on or off campus, or whether it took place before or during someone’s time at Carolina. Individuals we serve include:

  • University students (undergraduate, graduate, and professional students)
  • University employees (faculty members, EHRA (EPA) non-faculty members, SHRA (SPA) employees, student employees)
  • Postdoctoral scholars
  • Former students and employees seeking to report harassment, sexual assault, interpersonal violence, or stalking during their time at Carolina
  • Non-affiliated individuals reporting harassment, sexual assault, interpersonal violence, or stalking that occurred on campus or by a University-affiliated individual to the University Compliance Office and/orUNC Police
  • Community members, loved ones, or family members seeking resource information to share with a student or employee
