April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM)

April is nationally recognized as Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM), with the goal of promoting awareness, education, and resources to prevent sexual violence and support impacted individuals in our communities.

UNC-Chapel Hill recognizes Sexual Assault Awareness Month each April to promote resources and support available to members of our community impacted by sexual violence and remind all of us of the role we have in preventing sexual violence and taking care of each other.
