Letters for Solidarity

Join VPAS on Tuesday, April 18th to write an anonymous letter of solidarity to survivors of sexual and gender-based violence.

To write your letter in person, stop by the VPAS office in the Stone Center, Suite 101, between 3pm and 6pm on Tuesday, April 18th.

All writing materials will be provided. Just bring yourself!

The anonymous letters will be made into a scrapbook for those seeking services with the GVSCs.

The GVSCs will be on-site to provide confidential support.

To submit your anonymous letter online, please use the QR code in the post or the link below. Please submit online letters by April 18th at 10:00 PM.

Sexual Assault Awareness Month

April marks Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM), a time recognized nationally and by UNC to raise awareness, support each other, highlight resources, and work together to prevent sexual assault and sexual misconduct at Carolina. Throughout the month, Violence Prevention and Advocacy Services and campus resources are hosting events for students and employees to connect, learn, and get involved. 2026 Campus Hazing Prevention Survey

UNC-Chapel Hill is part of a national hazing prevention study focused on hazing prevention and building safer student groups, organizations, and teams for undergraduate, graduate, and professional students.

All undergraduate, graduate, and professional students are invited to take the survey.
