Drop-In Hours in the LGBTQ Center

Victim Services Specialists offer in-person drop-in hours at the LGBTQ Center during the fall and spring semesters. During drop-in hours, individuals do not need to schedule an appointment to meet with a Victim Services Specialist. All students (undergraduate, graduate, professional, and doctoral) and employees are welcome to stop by drop-in hours.

Drop-in hours take place in the LGBTQ Center (Suite 3308 in SASB South) on the dates listed below. To find the location of SASB South on our campus map, search for “Student and Academic Services Building South (SASB).” 

Any changes to drop-in hours will be updated below. Drop-in hours will be held on the following Thursdays from 3:00-5:00 p.m. for the spring 2026 semester:

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM)

Sexual Assault Awareness Month

April marks Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM), a time recognized nationally and by UNC to raise awareness, support each other, highlight resources, and work together to prevent sexual assault and sexual misconduct at Carolina. Throughout the month, Violence Prevention and Advocacy Services and campus resources are hosting events for students and employees to connect, learn, and get involved. 2026 Campus Hazing Prevention Survey

UNC-Chapel Hill is part of a national hazing prevention study focused on hazing prevention and building safer student groups, organizations, and teams for undergraduate, graduate, and professional students.

All undergraduate, graduate, and professional students are invited to take the survey.
