Meet Our Student Team!

VPAS is excited to welcome our 2023-2024 cohort of Peer Educators, Ambassadors, and Student Advisory Group Members! The VPAS Student Team is vital to our violence prevention work on campus. They facilitate trainings, plan events, assist with outreach initiatives, and provide feedback on our policies and programs. Most importantly, they raise awareness about sexual and gender-based violence on campus and serve as a bridge between the VPAS staff and the student community.

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM)

Sexual Assault Awareness Month

April marks Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM), a time recognized nationally and by UNC to raise awareness, support each other, highlight resources, and work together to prevent sexual assault and sexual misconduct at Carolina. Throughout the month, Violence Prevention and Advocacy Services and campus resources are hosting events for students and employees to connect, learn, and get involved.
