Take the 2026 Campus Hazing Prevention Survey

UNC-Chapel Hill is part of a national hazing prevention study focused on hazing prevention and building safer student groups, organizations, and teams for undergraduate, graduate, and professional students. In 2025, Carolina joined the third cohort of the What Works Study, led by The Timothy J. Piazza Center for Fraternity and Sorority Research at Penn State University.

This spring, students nationwide are invited to take a hazing prevention survey. At Carolina, Violence Prevention and Advocacy Services  and other campus partners want to hear from you. Your input will help us understand student experiences and strengthen programs, resources, and support – both on campus and nationally.

We encourage all students to participate to ensure findings reflect a wide range of student experiences. The survey will be offered each spring throughout 2028 to guide both immediate and long-term prevention efforts.
