VPAS in 20

VPAS in 20 offers a brief overview of Violence Prevention and Advocacy Services, including our campus-wide prevention initiatives, ways to get involved, and the confidential support and services we provide to students, faculty, and staff impacted by harassment, sexual misconduct, interpersonal violence, and stalking.

Whether during a class, meeting, or team training, this 20-minute session is an easy way to learn about VPAS. We’re happy to come to you in-person, or join your group virtually.

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM)

Sexual Assault Awareness Month

April marks Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM), a time recognized nationally and by UNC to raise awareness, support each other, highlight resources, and work together to prevent sexual assault and sexual misconduct at Carolina. Throughout the month, Violence Prevention and Advocacy Services and campus resources are hosting events for students and employees to connect, learn, and get involved. 2026 Campus Hazing Prevention Survey

UNC-Chapel Hill is part of a national hazing prevention study focused on hazing prevention and building safer student groups, organizations, and teams for undergraduate, graduate, and professional students.
